Gay Marriage
Also known as same sex marriage, or civil unions, has been one of the LGBT Rights in the forefront for the last 10 years. Same Sex Couples are wanting the same basic protections that are given to our straight counterparts. The United States Constitution says that not one citzen will be considered a 2nd class citizen, yet our government to this day, keeps us right at that. 2nd Class citizens.
Lot of Straight people just dont understand why we want the right to marriage or settle for cival untions. They dont understand what it is to have their life partner in the hospital, and not being able to see them, or having their wills over turned by their families and the partner they leave behind gets only the clothes on their backs.
